Treatments

Vitamin C a potent antioxidant, helps to retain moisture neutralizing the effects of free oxygen radicals. By minimizing this damage and stimulating the formation of collagen and elastin, vitamin C restores skin’s vitality and youthfulness.

Obagi Blue peel: The Blue Peel is an in-office procedure designed to significantly improve the appearance and health of your skin. The Blue Peel is a unique procedure to precisely control the depth of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels from superficial to medium depth with built-in safeguards. The Blue Peel helps ensure consistent results with every patient. The Blue Peel offers flexibility of treatment for all skin colors, all thicknesses. Effective for many conditions including hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, comedones, large pores, laxity and roughness, allowing the skin’s own clarity and tightness to surface.

Neostrata Glycolic Acid peels: Glycolic acid peels are considered superficial chemical peels they’re both safe, and effective with minimal post-peel recovery time. They can be used to treat the skin of the face, back of the hand, chest and neck. Glycolic acid peels have been used in dermatology for over two decades, for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, improving complexion, skin texture, and dyspigmentation caused by sun damage. The benefits of glycolic acid can be more than just cosmesis studies show that they may reverse photodamage in actinic keratosis in some patients.

Jessner’s and TCA Chemical peels: Combined together offer a medium depth chemical peel. The Jessner’s Peel has been used for over 100 years and combines resorcinol (a derivative of phenol), lactic acid, salicylic acid resulting in deeper penetration and greater exfoliation of the outer layers of skin cells. Excellent for the treatment of mild to severe acne, discoloration, moderate wrinkling, and sun damage. The Jessner’s peel is very beneficial for patients with acne, oily prone skin, clogged pores or thicker skin. Recovery time involves flaking and exfoliation 3-4 days after the peel, within a week a smoother, healthier skin.

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) can be used alone or in combination with Jessner’s solution. TCA can be used in concentrations of 10 to 35 percent, it is considered a medium depth peel useful for patients with surface wrinkles, superficial blemishes, pigmentation problems. TCA peels can produce marked improvement in collagen and elastin in the skin and reduction of fine wrinkling. Recovery time is approximately one week.

Derma Genesis Particle Skin Resurfacing: A medical grade, non-invasive, non-surgical, procedure that treats blackheads & whiteheads, fine wrinkles, sundamaged skin, acne prone skin, superficial age spots, and oily skin. Considered a superficial peel the benefits of Particle Skin Resurfacing over dermabrasion, acid peels, and laser peels include: Minimal risk, treatment of all skin types including darker pigmented skin, no anesthesia, no down time. The procedure is fast, predictable, a true lunch-hour peel.

Microdemabrasion treatments with vitamin C

Dermabrasion: Utilizes a system of wire brushes to “refinish” the skin’s top layers by a method of controlled surgical scraping. Dermabrasion treatments soften the sharp edges of surface irregularities. This technique is most often used to improve facial skin left scarred from accidents or prior surgery.
